Earthpark elements

Earthpark is informed by the natural world and brings much more than a rainforest to visitors in Iowa. In its leadership approach to the world’s precious resources, Earthpark will fulfill a special mission of delight, learning and sustainability.

Earthpark will encompass the realms of the Amazonian wilds while housing the cultural and institutional functions of a vibrant community facility.  In its iconic architecture and through deeply interactive exhibits and learning spaces, visitors will encounter some of Earth’s most precious and secretive realms.  Over time and with its success, Earthpark will evolve through several master-planned phases to feature ten core areas of activity described in more detail below.

Earthpark’s mission to “inspire generations to learn from the natural world” includes exhibits, interactive displays, virtual realty and learning centers that touch on worlds of wonder found around the earth.
